Lee Grears is the founder and chief executive officer of Test inspect. He plays an active role in the daily workings of Test inspect and is a PCN Level 3 in Magnetic particle, penetrant, radiographic, and ultrasonic testing practitioner and a senior welding inspector to CSWIP 3.2.
His past experience includes welding and fabrication having formally been employed by BAE Systems Submarine Solutions before qualifying in inspection and testing working on board Astute class submarines being built in Barrow-In-Furness. Once qualified Lee remained at BAE for 4 more years as a senior inspector before leaving to work closer to home in Whitehaven. Lee’s inspection career has included Sellafield, Cavendish Nuclear, and TSP Engineering gaining a vast amount of experience in not just nuclear but also oil and gas, marine, renewables, power generation, and petrochemical.
Gareth McNally is the general manager of our NDT and inspection services and is qualified in PT, MT, RT and Welding Inspection, painting inspector, IICL and holds a degree in NDT.
Gareth is responsible for our North NDT and inspection service.
