Our Mechanical testing laboratory
Our mechanical testing laboratory provides professional, accredited testing services to support the validation and integrity assessment of components, joints, products and materials. Testing activities are carried out efficiently and under controlled conditions, allowing clients to witness machining, preparation and destructive testing where required.
Available techniques include a full range of non-destructive and destructive testing methods, such as dye penetrant, radiographic, ultrasonic and magnetic particle testing, alongside chemical analysis and positive material identification using optical emission spectroscopy (OES). Mechanical testing capabilities include Charpy impact testing, tensile testing and hardness measurement, supporting material verification and compliance with applicable standards.
Our mechanical testing team works collaboratively with clients to define appropriate destructive testing methods or combinations of tests, ensuring that components, materials and products are assessed accurately and in accordance with technical, regulatory and project requirements.
