Our southern work runs from Totton, on the western edge of Southampton and close to the M27. It's the base of Responsive Southampton, the Group's company for the South of England.
From here we do site radiography, NDT and inspection across the south coast, with the rest of the Group behind it: laboratory testing at Lillyhall, radiation protection through RADPro Group, and training through Responsive Training Services.

What we do in Southampton
- Site radiography: planned and carried out under IRR17, with RPA support from RADPro Group.
- Ultrasonic testing and phased array: weld inspection, thickness surveys and corrosion mapping.
- Surface methods: magnetic particle and dye penetrant.
- Welding and fabrication inspection: to the standard or specification you work to.
- PMI: XRF on site for alloy checks, with OES at the lab when the carbon grade matters.
- Destructive and materials testing: carried out at the Group's laboratory.
Areas we cover
Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, West Sussex and the Isle of Wight. We travel further when a job needs it.
