This week, Responsive Training Services, part of the Test Inspect Group, is pleased to be delivering an NDT Appreciation course for colleagues from Altrad and Sellafield at our new training facility in Lillyhall, Cumbria.
The NDT Appreciation course is designed to provide attendees with a clear, practical understanding of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods, their applications, and their importance in maintaining safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across industry. The course offers valuable insight for personnel who work alongside NDT technicians or rely on inspection results as part of their role.
Supporting Industry Through Practical Training
Throughout the course, delegates are introduced to the fundamentals of key NDT methods, including:
Visual Inspection (VI)
Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
Radiographic Testing (RT)
Dye Penetrant Testing (PT)
Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
The training focuses not only on what each method does, but why it is used, its limitations, and how inspection results contribute to informed decision-making in high-integrity environments such as the nuclear and energy sectors.
A New Training Facility in Cumbria
